Reticule targeting was a big sticking point for everyone, for sure. You wont be able to log into the game or account page without one and your SWL account will not work. Not applicable in your case but incase this is found by others, this process is only worth doing if you already have a TSW account. You can access the old TSW account page, which links to the installer and LocalConfig.xml, by visiting: If you ran into issues while trying method 1 then use the standalone TSW client. This will start the slow process of converting the copied SWL folder into TSW. You should be prompted to overwrite the existing file. Make a copy of your SWL installation folder.

Let alone all of my stuff is gone, the weapons and customization (which I thought was the best part of the MMO game-wise, where I could mix and match things nearly endlessly AR/sword 4 lyfe, etc. I never found the combat bland, I really enjoyed both PvP and PvE, but I think we all came for the story, puzzles, art, occult, and atmosphere. I tried playing SW:L but I just can't get past the reticle targeting (which was in the original game, whenever I'd turn it on I'd turn it off as quickly as possible). I really miss playing The Secret World :( Sometimes I just want to go back to the Facility and enjoy the Halina Ilyushin anima dialogue. I used to play TSW, subscribed for over a year, had a ton of in-game purchased DLC/cosmetics, and now with SW:L, I can't access any of that. I apologize for what is probably just my failure to search reddit properly.
